Our client, Workpuls, is a fast-growing B2B product startup that provides businesses with intelligent insights into employee time usage. They are forming their HR department and looking for a person who would be eager to help them grow their team, as well as to grow with them.
As a first member of the HR team and a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for the full life-cycle recruitment process. That includes role definition, creating & posting job ads on various channels, candidate sourcing, screening and interviewing, selection, offer development and negotiation, and assisting in employee onboarding. To be successful in this role, you should be able to develop long-term recruiting strategies and nurture trusting relationships with potential hires.
Ultimately, you will create strong talent pipelines for the company’s current and future hiring needs, and contribute to Employer branding.
Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs
Determine selection criteria
Source potential candidates through online channels (e.g. social platforms and professional networks)
Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments, and video call/in-person interviews
Collaborate with team members to design job descriptions and interview questions that reflect each position’s requirements
Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates and contribute to Employer branding
Proven work experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or in a similar role within the IT industry
Familiarity with social media, resumé databases, and professional networks (e.g. LinkedIn, Stack Overflow, and Github)
Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A keen understanding of the differences between various roles within organizations
A desire to move to a HR Coordinator/Manager role over time
Flexible start time - between 9am and 10am

Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in Talent Acquisition / Recruiting or Sourcing Specialist roles within the IT industry
